Specialising in Bereavement, Grief and Loss - Chamomile Counselling
A little about me...
I am a fully qualified counsellor/psychotherapist specialising in the distressing emotional turmoil of bereavement, grief and loss.
I work with adults, children and young people on an individual basis.
Originally I trained as an aromatherapist, coming into counselling later in life having noticed a connection between physical and emotional pain.
Maturity has provided me with experience and understanding of many of the uncomfortable events we can encounter in life, bereavement being among the most distressing.
Training has provided me with an appreciation that everyone's encounter with them and bereavement won’t be the same. Yours is unique to you.
My counselling/psychotherapist approach is person-centred.
I believe you are the expert within your own life - although right now it might not feel like that - you are at the forefront of the process.
I provide a warm therapeutic relationship without judgement or direction which offers you a feeling of safety to explore your emotions and reactions and to recognise the influences past bereavements may be having upon you now.
Offering empathy, understanding, complete acceptance and confidentiality, no matter what you say or how you say it, enables you to recognise and understand yourself, your situation and your capacity to self-heal.
